British gadget magazine Stuff named the HTC Hero which runs the Android operating system as their gadget of the year at their annual awards show this week. It’s being reported by Ewan at Mobile Industry Review that the Hero, HTC’s third Android smartphone, will hit Orange shops in the UK tomorrow. There’s no press release on the Orange Newsroom web page yet but if MIR says it’s going to happen we’re inclined to believe it.

HTC’s Hero (or T-Mobile G2 Touch, if you prefer) will no doubt be making an official appearance soon even if the ‘early July’ predictions have proved to be a bit previous.
