ShopSavvy for Android – Shopping will never be the same!
ShopSavvy allows you to find the best prices for items locally and online instantly whether you’re at home or in-store.
There’s no messing around either, using the camera as a barcode scanner ShopSavvy returns a list of those places an item can be bought cheaper online and (sometimes) locally. You can also create wishlists and receive notification when an item’s price reaches a certain threshold.
It might not make you very popular with shop owners but this is a really handy little tool. The local results are great if your intended purchase can be found cheaper within walking distance and as you’d expect there’s Google map integration. Unfortunately, in our experience, local results were a bit hit and miss but hopefully this will improve as the database grows. Other than that ShopSavvy is well worth installing. Recommended.
