Bonsai Blast – Android Market’s best free game?
This isn’t a review, just a heads-up. If you’re looking for games in the Android market and you’re not keen on paying, give Bonsai Blast a whirl.
It’s not just free, it’s pretty good too, and nicely designed, and addictive, and long lasting. There’s no point in writing an in depth review though since you can simply download it for free from the Android Market but basically it’s a shoot-coloured-spheres-at-other-coloured-spheres-to-make-them-disappear kind of game. Obviously, there’s slightly more to it than that but that’s the essence of it. Here are a few screenshots to give you an idea.
One negative comment we would make (and yes, we know it’s free so we shouldn’t complain, etc) is that the early levels are just too easy and it takes a while before it becomes challenging. Other than that though, recommended.

It’s all a bit frustrating really, because it wouldn’t take much to improve things – how about additional gestures/interactions and a choice of difficulty levels for a kick-off? Even then though, we’re not sure it would be worth the $2.99 being asked – especially when compared with something like the highly addictive, long-lasting (and free) genius that is Bonsai Blast. [...]
